Two voters and an election official have been charged in Armenia for attempting to organizing a double ballot in last week's presidential election, reports the press service of the Prosecutor-General's Office.
Two persons identified as G. Mikayelyan and H. Movsisyan are said to have attempted to vote for other eligible voters at a polling station in Yerevan's Shengavit district on February 18, but were stopped by the head of the precinct commission in the process.
A member of the commission, identified as R. Ghazaryan, who let the two "offenders" sign in the lists instead of other voters, is also charged in the same case, added the Prosecutor-General's Office.
