President Serzh Sargsyan received on Monday Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Martinov, who is in Armenia on an official visit.
According to a press by the presidential office, both officials agreed that it is important to make more active efforts towards developing the bilateral friendly ties and extending cooperation in different sectors, particularly economy.
The parties considered possibilities of exchanging experience and developing cooperation in automobile industry, agriculture, high technologies, science and education, as well as nuclear energy.
Noting that Armenia and Belarus are active members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), they also stressed the importance of promoting a mutually beneficial cooperation within international organizations.
