A lawmaker of the Prosperous Armenia party (PAP), Naira Zohrabyan, has characterized the opposition Heritage party’s proposal on discussing the joint campaign headquarters’ work as a pretext for stepping back from previously reached agreements.
It comes after Ruben Hakobyan of the Heritage party declared at the Political Analysts’ Union earlier today that he will take part in the headquarters’ activities provided the leaders of the parties attending the meeting (Prosperous Armenia, the opposition Armenian National Congress, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun and Heritage) sign the agreement.
“We are a disciplined party, and if Mr Oskanyan [ex foreign minister who recently became a PAP member] has joined the signature of the four parties, it was definitely under [PAP leader] Gagik Tsarukyan’s authority; it couldn’t have been otherwise in our party,” she told Tert.am.
