Minister of Education Armen Ashotyan and the charitable foundation Pyunik have signed a cooperation agreement on opening a new computer lab at the Armenian State University of Economics.
Addressing the ceremony at the University today, the minister said that their cooperation with Pyunik has many years’ history and praised the foundation’s investments in Armenia’s education sector.
“Today’s agreement accomplishes our many years’ cooperation,” he said.
President of the foundation Levon Sargsyan said that their activities, which target different spheres, put special emphasis on education.
“Without developed human resources and educated generations, a society and a state do not simply have a future; they are doomed to failure,” he said, adding that their projects have an on-going nature.
