le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenian Police have checked and worked out 4462 cases about inaccuracies connected with inclusion of names of deceased people in voter lists, the press release of the police reports.
The checking confirmed the 3278 cases, and rejected the 299. The information about 34 people was impossible to check. The cases of 99 are being clarified. The voters’ register did not include personal data of 752 people.
About 134 calls over 196 inaccuracies have been received though a hot-line operating in the Passport and Visa Department of the Police. All the calls have been checked, the revealed inaccuracies were corrected. The police statement says in case of getting information about deceased people the Passport and Visa Department withdraws his/her name from the state population register.
