Poland today remembers the victims of the air disaster of the government Tu-154 near Smolensk two years ago which killed 96 people including the president of Poland Lech Kaczynski and First Lady Mary Kaczynski.
An official event will be attended by the head of Poland, Bronislaw Komorowski and other government officials, at the military cemetery in Povonzkah where a monument to the victims of the tragedy is located, The Voice of Russia reported.
At 10:41 GMT, the time of the disaster, a moment of silence will be held in memory of the dead.
Ceremonies will also be held in Russia and an official delegation of the Government of Poland to visit the crash site near Smolensk which will determine the exact location where a monument will be erected to the victims of the tragedy.
