President Sargsyan says March 1 is very important for him personally

Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan has said that the disclosure of the perpetrators of the 1 March 2008 events is very important for him personally.

Speaking at a meeting with high-ranking representatives of legal and judicial bodies on Wednesday, Sargsyan urged on them to try and find “new ways of disclosing” those events.

“I have said it for several times and I am reiterating now that there are a lot of expectations, and first of all I mean the March 1 events,” said Sargsyan. “I expect new momentum and pronounced activity in the revelation of those cases mentioned.”  Read more... (307 words)
