Armenia beat visiting Andorra 4-0 in front of a near-capacity crowd at the 16,000-seat Republican Stadium in Yerevan Tuesday night to end on a high note this year's part of their Euro-2012 qualifying campaign.
Three first-half goals and one goal at the beginning of the second period let Armenia take an easy victory against the Group B underdog and take a temporary lead in the six-nation standings before other group members went into action later that night.
Gevorg Ghazaryan opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area – a goal that also proved Armenia's 100th since it began playing in international competitions as an independent nation in 1994.
