The Republic of Armenia Council against Corruption held today another session headed by RA Prime Minister, chairman of the council Tigran Sargsyan.
Assistant to the RA President, chairman of the monitoring committee for implementation of the anti-corruption strategy Gevorg Kostanyan gave a report on making changes in and additions to the RA President’s 2004 June 1 order on “Creating a council against corruption”. Kostanyan particularly mentioned that it is envisaged to make changes in the monitoring committee with the purpose of raising the level of effectiveness of the committee’s activities. The changes and additions have been confirmed by the council.
Among other issues on the agenda, the council also discussed and approved the reports on the monitoring of results of the first quarters of 2009 and 2010 of the plan of actions for the 2009-2012 RA anti-corruption strategy.
