Eurovision 2013: Armenians pick song for Sujyan=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s bid at continent=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s biggest pop music contest

Armenian singer Gor Sujyan will perform the song "Lonely Planet" in this year's Eurovision after it was selected out of four in the March 2 national show.

Sujyan, a 25-year-old lead singer of the popular Dorians band, had earlier been picked by the Armenian public broadcaster to represent the nation at the pan-European contest to be held in Malmo, Sweden, in May.

The winning entry in the Armenian show got selected through a 50/50 jury and tele-voting deliberation.

Sujyan is the seventh Armenian representative to take part in the competition that Armenia skipped last year due to its being held in Baku, Azerbaijan, which is locked in a bitter dispute with Yerevan over Nagorno-Karabakh. The Armenian representative is due to start from the second semi-final scheduled for May 16.
