Decision 2013: Opposition leader to dispute election outcome at Constitutional Court

Raffi Hovannisian, who officially finished second in the February 18 presidential race, is going to formally challenge the outcome of the vote that gave victory to incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan.

Hovannisian's campaign headquarters said late on Sunday that the candidate would file an appeal with the Constitutional Court on March 4.

It said the ex-candidate's aides will submit an application on his behalf at 5:30 pm, seeking that the Court invalidate the results of the vote.

Later in the evening a spokesperson and legal advisors for the Hovannisian headquarters are scheduled to hold an open-air air conference in front of the Constitutional Court building in Yerevan.
