Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who also chairs the National Security Council (NSC), invited an extended meeting of the body on Wednesday to urge officials to keep working intensively in the post-electoral period to reinforce the international community's trust in Armenia.
Sargsyan, who got reelected president according to official results in the February 18 vote, singled out two major achievements during the recent period: the world community's positive response and the conduct of the presidential polls in an atmosphere free from hatred.
"It is very important at this point not to weaken ourselves, but to work instead to strengthen what we have gained so far with our daily active efforts," underscored Sargsyan, according to his press office.
