A NATO Assessment Group arrived in Armenia on Fe. 25 to assess the process of Armenia's fulfilling its commitments under the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) and Planning and Review Process (PARP).The group members visited the peacemaking brigade of Armenia's Ministry of Defense. They listened to a report on the brigade's activities and development. The sides discussed issues of developing cooperation.On February 26 and 27, the group members held meetings with officials of different departments of Armenia's Ministry of Defense, Joint Staff, to discuss Armenia's fulfilling its commitments.Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received on Thursday Head of NATO Assessment Mission Guy Gerbaud.The NATO expert reported the visit results to Mr Ohanyan. Armenia's defense minister stressed Mr Gerbaud's important contribution to Armenia-NATO cooperation and awarded a medal for Military Cooperation to him.At their meeting with Armenia's Deputy Minister of Defense David Tonoyan the group members summed up results and discussed further cooperation between Armenia and NATO.
