Head of Armenia's ruling Republican Party faction Galust Sahakyan believes that if people are gathering in Yerevan Liberty Square artificially such meetings cannot last long.
Speaking to Tert.am the MP offers not to discuss the 'ifs' and whether the Republican party has enough resources to confront all the political parties if they, including the Prosperous Armenia Party appear in the Liberty Square.
"People should gather in natural way if they are gathering artificially these rallies will not last long. In other countries people are taking to streets and those guiding them appear, while in Armenia political forces push people to take streets to guide them. It is an artificial approach and has become a tradition here," he said.
Galust Sahakyan stressed that they are not yet making any statements not to add fuel to the fire.
The MP said this post-electoral process is a natural process to form a strong opposition and authorities.
Asked whether they expected that the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun (ARF-D) would go to the Liberty Square, the head of the faction said as far as the electorates of the ARF-D, ANC and certain part of the PAP gave their votes to Raffi Hovannisian, the ARF-D representatives visited the Liberty Square to stand by their voters' side.
