A Public Council delegation led by its chairman Vazgen Manukyan is in Rio de Janeiro from June 14 to attend the annual general assembly of International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS).
Public Council has become member of the AICESIS since 2009.
On the sidelines of the visit Armenia's Public Council and Brazil's Social and Economic Council will sign a bilateral agreement.
Two round tables are expected to be held to prepare a package of proposals of mutual interest. The future cooperation projects will too be decided during the meetings.
Once in a year meetings will be held in Armenia and Brazil to discuss and sum up the implemented activities.
The Armenian delegation will also participate in Rio+20 world summit on sustainable development conducted there during these days.
