Zhoghovurd: Moscow does not want Aghvan Hovsepyan to be changed

le=”text-align: justify; “>The daily Zhoghovurd writes Russia’s prosecutor general Yuri Chayka is in Armenia and has brought with him a medal to Armenia’s prosecutor general Aghvan Hovsepyan granted to the latter by Russia’s President Dmitry Medvedev still on April 14.

The paper’s Moscow sources report that Chayka’s visit and handing of Medal of Honor to Hovsepyan have a political context. The paper explains that recently news is circulating about the appointment of leader of the Rule of Law party Artur Baghdasaryan as prosecutor general after the elections. Now the official Moscow is showing with its attitude that it does not want Hovsepyan’s change with a pro-European person. The paper reminds that Russia has an essential role in appointments in Armenia’s law enforcement establishments.
