Some 100 days prior to the presidential election the domestic political world in Armenia was shook by Prosperous Armenia Party faction secretary Naira Zohrabyan's suggestion that Armenia transfer to parliamentary administration system and a hundred percent proportionate representation election system.
PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan's mysterious silence has been, in fact, violated by a chess-game move that pressures both the opposition and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia to contemplate the startling idea of having a "technical" presidency.
The main oppositional forces – the radical Armenian National Congress, Heritage party and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) – have come to a preliminary agreement to participate in PAP-proposed "consultations".
