A commission has been set up in Armenia under Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan's decision to organize the funeral of the famous Armenian singer, Flora Martirosyan, who died in the United States last week.
Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan has been appointed head of the commission.
"All the expenses regarding the transfer of [Martirosyan's] body to Armenia, and the funeral will be covered by the Government," Ministry of Culture representative Hasmik Hakhverdyan said, according to News.am.
The official added, however, that the date for the transfer of the singer's body to Armenia has not been fixed yet. Earlier, it was reported that the singer's family agreed to her body being buried in Yerevan.
