US-Armenians should elect Republican nominee – analyst

The Armenians in the United States should give preference to the Republican Party in the upcoming presidential elections, Stepan Grigoryan, the head of the Globalization and Regional Cooperation Center, told a news conference on Tuesday.
According to him, the Republicans' policies tackling global issues will also address the South Caucasus region.
"Obviously, the Republican administration always deals with global issues, so our region will clearly be part of that program," he said. "I don't say they are perfect, but it is known to all that the Democrats address domestic issues."
The analyst explained that one power's domination will complicate the situation in the region.
"One power is capable of solving the problem, but not to our benefit, so it is necessary for many subjects to work," he said.
The US presidential elections slated for November 6 will see Republican candidate Mitt Romney rivaling incumbent President Barack Obama.
