Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s minister of health receives Argentine ambassador

Armenia's Minister of Health Derenik Dumanyan received on Tuesday Argentine Ambassador to Armenia Diego Ernesto Alvarez Rivera.As far back as 1998, the Argentine and Armenian Ministries of Health signed an agreement on large-scale cooperation.On the initiative of Daniel Stambulyan, a well-known Argentine-Armenian doctor, the FIDEC Armenia Fund, which was established in 2008, implemented three reproductive health and healthy lifestyle programs in the Tavush region, last year. "It is desirable, however, that our cooperation be in many more areas. I think this meeting will open up new prospects in this area," Minister Dumanyan said.Ambassador Alvarez Rivera noted he studies the areas Armenia and Argentine can cooperation in. He expressed his willingness to contribute to all the bilateral health programs.Minister Dumanyan pointed out numerous opportunities for cooperation in healthcare. Argentine-Armenian doctors can be actively involved in the programs.Minister Dumanyan conveyed an invitation to visit Yerevan to his Argentine counterpart to discuss cooperation programs.
