The Special Investigation Division at the Head Investigation Department, RA Police, rejected a petition filed by lawyers Lusine Hakobyan and Tigran Yegoryan, who represent the interests of Vahe Avetyan's family in the notorious Harsnaqar case.Mr Yegoryan told Tert.am that they petitioned for President of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hairapetyan's involvement as a suspect, more serious charges against the persons that caused Vahe Avetyan's death (which envisages up to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment), extra autopsy of the body as the "medicolegal report contain invalid inferences."Lawyers of Vahe Avetyan's father Lusine Hakobyan and Tigran Yegoryan speaking to RFE/RL said five of the 6 arrested, considered the security guards of the restaurant, had accompanied Ruben Hayrapetyan during the whole day. Hakobyan said the materials of the case reveal very interesting circumstances, among them that Ruben Hayrapetyan was in Sevan on June 17 returnin g to Yerevan at about 7 p.m., which means that the mentioned five persons, except the waiter, accompanied him in Sevan and Yerevan.
