Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan received today ambassador of Kazakhstan Ayimdoz Bozzhigitov.
According to the press release of the City Hall, the interlocutors rated high the high level cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan, noting that in spite of the warm and friendly relations there is still a lot to be done in development of cooperation.
"I am convinced that the cooperation between the two cities must be put on more practical bases, especially if taking into consideration the existing potential existing both in Yerevan and Astana," he said.
"We have stated many times that we are open and ready for discussion and implementation of mutually beneficial programs," Yerevan mayor said, praising the ambassador's personal contribution to the development of Armenian-Kazakh relations.
The ambassador rated high the necessity of more practical relations between Astana and Yerevan, saying he will contribute to the development of relations.
