Deputy governor of Armenian region arrested over bribe case

Deputy governor of Armenian Kotayk region Levon Mikayelyan has been arrested today while taking 40,000 drams bribe from a school principal, press release of the National Security Service reports.
 
While in office he demanded from several school principals to pay bribes periodically to avoid checkups and problems in their schools.
 
A criminal case has been filed. Investigation is under way.
