Gyumri's Shirak and Kapan's Gandzasar on Thursday got the results they needed to stay in the competition as they hosted their rivals in the second-leg matches of the first qualifying round in Europa League, the UEFA's second most prestigious club-level tournament.
In Gyumri the local side held Montenegro's Rudar to a 1-1 draw, progressing to the next stage of the tournament due to a 1-0 away win a week before.
Kapan's Gandzasar, who suffered an away defeat 1-3 against Streymur from the Faroe Islands last week, managed to score two goals in the Yerevan encounter to secure a spot in the next round.
Meanwhile, Pyunik failed to make progress despite a 2-1 away win against Zeta (Montenegro). The Yerevan club suffered a 0-3 defeat at home a week earlier.
