OSCE MG Visit: Karabakh says Azerbaijan unconstructive, wants full format of talks; Aliyev happy about Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s diminishing demography

President of Nagorno Karabakh Bako Sahakyan received OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in Stepanakert on July 11 and during the eighty-minute meeting he accused Azerbaijan of holding anti-constructive policy and of distorting the format of negotiations, thus creating obstacles to the Karabakh conflict settlement.

Sahakyan called on the co-chairs to continue efforts at convincing Azerbaijan to take a constructive course as well as on "recovering the full format of the negotiation process". (Full format implies Nagorno Karabakh's direct participation in the talks.)

The mediators did not say anything definite in this respect; they only stated that "at a certain stage" Nagorno Karabakh will join the negotiation process.  Read more... (477 words)
