Drivers in Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Kotayk region to continue strike

The drivers of King Deluxe, a company operating buses and taxis in Armenia's northern region of Kotayk, have promised to continue their strike on Thursday.
Other drivers serving the passengers of Abovyan and Hrazdan cities are also expected to join them.
Around 120 drivers of the company went on a strike on Wednesday morning, complaining that a charity route operated by the Prosperous Armenia party's leader, Gagik Tsarukyan, is a major blow to their business.
There have also been reports about plans to block roadways. But the company's director, Artur Dallakyan, has not confirmed on denied such possibility.
"Unpredictable moments; I cannot say anything for sure," he told Tert.am.
According to him, some 100 drivers have declared a strike, suspending the operation of 43 buses.
Dallakyan said that it is already six months the drivers have been protesting against Tsarukyan's move.
Earlier, Naira Zohrabyan of the Prosperous Armenia party told Tert.am that the Gagik Tsarukyan Foundation has promised to hire the King Delux drivers, offering them favorable working conditions.
