Azeri Foreign Ministry threatens “black list=?UTF-8?B?4oCdIA==?=of election observers

The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan has said it will "blacklist" all international observers overseeing Thursday's presidential election in Nagorno Karabakh.

More than 100 observers have been registered for the election, including 80 international monitors representing 18 countries.

The threat to declare the internationals as "persona non grata" is in protest to the unrecognized republic's election, which the Azeri government has called a "provocation" and a hindrance to settlement of the Karabakh conflict that has been ongoing since 1988.
