FIDE, the governing body for world chess' Trainer’s Commission has recognized Armenian grandmaster Arshak Petrosyan as World's Best Trainer 2011 and awarded him with the Mikhail Botvinnik Medal.
Last year the Armenian National Team headed by Arshak Petrosyan won the World Championship in Ningbo, China.
This is the second time that Petrosyan is recognized World's Best Trainer. The grandmaster won the Mikhail Botvinnik Medal in 2008 when the Armenian National Team became a two-time Olympic Champion.
