Armenian vice premier receives Asian Development Bank Armenia office head

Armenian Vice Prime Minister, Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan received today Asian Development Bank (ADB) Armenia office head David Dole.
 
According to the press release of the ministry, the interlocutors discussed the process of implementation of programs with the assistance of the ADB and issues on further development of cooperation.
 
The vice premier said he is pleased with the level of cooperation and rated high the programs implemented with the assistance of the ADB directed toward the improvement of roads, water supply in the country's regions.
 
He said the improvement of regional infrastructures is a priority for the government and voiced hope the efficient partnership in the sphere will continue. Gevorgyan also referred to the urban stable development programs, noting that development programs of Gyumri, Vanadzor, Jermuk and Dilijan are under the special limelight of the Armenian government.
 
An arrangement has been achieved over conduction of joint discussion on Dilijan development program with the participation of representatives of all the stakeholder companies.
 
The interlocutors also rated high the necessity of favorable business environment, noting that the implementation of such projects may be more efficient in cooperation with the private sector.
 
The parties also referred to the North-South road corridor investment project, voicing hope that the program's implementation will launch soon.
