Works of several Armenian authors have been translated into contemporary Turkish language. According to Turkish Yeni Safac, Constantinople-based Krikor Zohrap, Ruben Zartaryan, Zapel Yesayan's works are among the translated ones.
"Turkish literature does not mention the names of writers belonging to different ethnic groups. But many art figures living on our land, together with us, representing different cultures and religions have left important works. Among them are ethnic Armenian writers and poets," the newspaper writes.
The works were translated by Sargis Srents into Ottoman language, and then into contemporary Turkish language.
The cost of 376-page collection is 20 Turkish liras.
