The United Nations has praised Georgia's efforts towards enhancing the public services sector.
According to the Azerbaijani news agency Trend, the country's Justice Ministry will host a special award ceremony in that connection later today.
The Ministry has said in a statement, that Georgia appears to be the only post-Soviet state to receive such honor. Similar awards were earlier granted to the United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.
The Georgian delegation will later attend a UN annual conference which will address, among other things, the country's fight against corruption.
