The opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) started its regular rally in Yerevan's Liberty Square.ANC Board Chairman, member of the ANC parliamentary group Aram Manukyan reminded the attendees that the ANC held its last rally on May 8.He called on the attendees to be ready for any developments as the presidential elections may not necessarily be held next February.With respect to the ANC group's activities in Armenia's newly formed parliament, Manukyan said that, at during the parliamentary debate on the Armenian government's program, the seven members of the ANC group made ten speeches that "humiliated the government.""They knew it would be hard for them, but not so hard. Ruling coalition and government members approached us expressed their gratitude," Manukyan said. "Without you we are weak. Seven people is not the number enabling us to be efficient. Moreover, they are not so afraid of us as they are afraid of you. It is due to you that they wi ll be more cautious, will read more and will be present at the assembly hall," Manukyan said.The ANC group member Nikol Pashinyan spoke of the ANC's role in the detection of the "March 1" and "October 27" crimes.People see that criminal are not punished, and murderers are praised. The result is that "Armenian citizens seek the Constitution in America and Europe – as well as citizenship there," Pashinyan said."The gang rule will come to its end, and this is the ANC's mission," Pashinyan said.
