The European Football Federation (UEFA) may postpone the Euro 2012 championship scheduled early this summer, considering the situation in Ukraine.
The plan was announced by Martin Cullen, who commented on last week’s explosions in Dnipropetrovsk when speaking to German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung.
“We can observe it every day. Platini treats this problem really seriously. If the situation becomes dangerous, the championship will not be held in Ukraine,” uzhgorod.in quoted him as saying.
Cullen said the European Federation does not expect any rescheduling though he did not rule out such this possibility.
