National Unity leader sees no reason to hurry

National Unity Party, Artashes Geghamyan, says he does not himself in Armenia’s fifth National Assembly.

Speaking to Tert.am, the politician warned against forestalling events.

“There is a good folk proverb saying ‘don’t roll up your trousers before reaching the stream’. When I go to the National Assembly and become a member, I will respond to your questions with pleasure,” he said.

Geghamyan added that in case of obtaining no mandate in parliament, he will stay in Armenia and continue serving the people.

As for criticism, he said he does not absolutely feel uncomfortable of critical remarks.
