Professor of Germany’s Heidelberg University’s clinic, Adrian Daigler, who is specialized in reconstructive surgery, is now in Armenia upon President Serzh Sargsyan’s invitation.
On Wednesday afternoon, he visited the Yerevan Burn Hospital to meet the survivors of the May 4 incident. The professor highly praised the Armenian doctors’ efforts to treat the people who received different degrees of burns after the explosion of the gas balloons on Republic Square.
Speaking to reporters at the hospital, Minister of Health Haurtyun Kushkyan stressed the importance of joint consultations with foreign doctors, considering it a good method for ensuring maximum effective treatment.
