President Serzh Sargsyan, who recently visited Aragatsotn region as part of the ruling Republican Party’s pre-election campaign, was met with indifference by the local residents, the paper has learned.
The people attending his meetings in the towns of Ashtarak, Talin, Aparan and all the villages of the region did not even listen to the president.
Speaking to the paper the Aragatsotn residents said none of them were interested in Sargsyan’s speech. Only the elderly wanted to talk to the president, it comments further.
The author of the report notes that Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan [who is from Argatsotn region] did attend the meeting as he was at work at that hour.
