Yerevan World Book Capital City 2012 to kick off in Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s capital

le=”text-align: justify; “>April 20 to 24, Armenia’s capital Yerevan will host the central events of the Yerevan World Book Capital City 2012 and the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing celebrations.

Exhibitions, concerts, films and presentations of books, etc.. The most significant event is, however, a ceremony of bestowing the title of UNESCO World Book Capital, which is to be held near the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts Matenadaran.

The Jubilee Committee members, Vigen Sargsyan, Head of the Armenian Presidential Administration, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan held a meeting with journalists on Thursday.

Vigen Sargsyan singled out a concert Andrea Bocelli, a world-famous tenor, is to give in Freedom Square in Yerevan, with the participation of Armenia’s State Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and ‘Hover’singing group.
