Vote 2012: Main opposition accent on breaking political monopoly

While the campaign for the May 6 parliamentary elections is actively on in Armenia, analysts and sociologists are trying to figure out whether the line-up of political forces will change in the next National Assembly.

The Gallup Organization conducted a survey in Armenia on April 4-10 showing that 34 percent of respondents are willing to give their votes to the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), with 28 percent ready to cast their ballots for the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and only 9 percent for the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC).  Read more...
