Vice-Speaker of Armenia=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s parliament responds to accusations

le=”text-align: justify; “>Vice-Speaker of Armenia’s Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov, who is of Greek descent, responded to the accusations by the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC).

The ANC accused the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) of ignoring the country’s national minorities. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan once addressed the people “Dear Armenians.”

“Don’t look for hair in an egg, especially when there is none,” Sharmazanov said.

“Armenia’s national minorities are part of the Armenian people. They have proved it over the past 20 years, both in peaceful construction and in Artsakh’s heroic struggle, when many of them took part in liberating Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh],” Sharmazanov said.  Read more... (1698 words, 11 images)
