The names of two Armenian teenagers have appeared on the list of people injured in a series of explosions that hit the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk on Friday.
The online site, Life News, published information suggesting that at least two people with Armenian surnames, Sera Avanyan and Karine Mkhitaryan (both said to be 16 years old) were injured in the four explosions. No further details about their status are revealed.
Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan told ArmeniaNow on Saturday afternoon that they did not yet possess official information in that regard. Earlier, the Ministry said there were no ethnic Armenians or citizens of Armenia among the three dozen injured reported in the attacks.
