Monitoring Sum-up: Latest parliament ineffective according to report

Prior to the May parliamentary elections "Monitoring of Legislative activities of the political forces represented at the National Assembly" project has held a monitoring, summing up the results of Armenia's fourth parliament's five-year work (2007-2012), to show the bigger picture and remind election participants of their key responsibilities and accountability to their voters.

During its tenure the parliament of 4th convocation has had 46 regular, 17 extraordinary, 2 special sessions and 9 extraordinary sittings. It has passed 1,412 laws, 200 of them authored by MPs, whereas the other 1,200 have been government-initiated.
