Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Wednesday a delegation headed by the chief of Latvia’s State Revenue Service, Nelija Jezdakova.

Greeting the guest, the premier expressed Armenia’s interest in bilateral cooperation.

“We are interested in your experience. The tax and customs sector is in the spotlight of both the business circles and the public. We are interested in fostering bilateral ties, and an exchange experience would be useful to us,” he said.

Thanking Sargsyan, the Latvian official said she is very much impressed by her first visit to Armenia. She told the premier that their meetings with Armenian counterparts focused on possibilities of cooperation in the tax and customs sectors. She then briefed on the activities and current reforms of their service.
