le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian attended the extended ministerial gathering of the North-Atlantic Council dedicated to Afghanistan issue in Brussels on April 19.
Foreign Ministers of more than 50 countries – NATO and ISAF members – are participating in the event.
Addressing to the participants, Minister Nalbandian reiterated Armenia’s commitment to continue assiting in the efforts to establish peace, security and stability in Afghanistan.
‘Armenia came to Afghanistan to assist in the joint international efforts to establish peace in that country, stop the destructive activity of terrorism groups not only in Afghanistan but other countries as well. We have witnessed it in our region as well and know what it means,’ Nalbandian said, stressing that Armenia will contribute to the establishment of peace, security and stability in Afghanistan by 2014, the withdrawal of security assistance forces, and after it as well.
