Armenian president visits Ararat factory

le=”text-align: justify; “>Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited on Thursday the Ararat food factory.

Director Sargis Tarverdyan told journalists that the factory has produced 2.8m liters of Ararat and Lina juices. This year the factory plans to launch the production of Ararat Medical and Ararat Nectar.

“We have also produced jams and other canned food products, about 350m product units. Last year, the company purchased about 725 tons of fruit and grapes to a total amount of AMD 180m,” Taverdyan said. He stated that the factory plans to increase output this year.

Ararat Company is among the leaders in Armenia’s domestic market, and exports 25% of its products to a number of CIS countries. The company is also negotiating an increase in exports.  Read more... (2119 words, 10 images)
