Armenian oppositionist prefers visiting people

Aram Manukyan, the leader of the opposition Armenian Pan-national Movement’s political board, says he prefers visiting people to all kinds of electoral bribes distributed in the course of campaigns.

At a news conference on Tuesday, the politician said they plan as many as 3,000 visits this year (as they did in 2007).

“We have planned visits in all the regions, and all the towns to the best of our abilities. The goal is to gather as many people as possible in the coming two rallies. We have no better resource to suppress the regime,” he said.
