le=”text-align: justify; “>On April 26 and 27, in Brussels, the Armenian and European Union (EU) delegations held the 2nd round of negotiations for simplified issuance of entry visas and readmission of illegal immigrants.
Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the Armenian delegation was led by Deputy FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
Under the agreement, Armenian citizens will make use of the simplified procedure of getting entry visas for the Schengen Area.
Under the agreement, Armenian scientists, students, journalists, businessmen, athletes and art workers have the right to the simplified procedure.
Armenia and the EU are also negotiating a readmission agreement.
The sides expressed their satisfaction with the progress in the process launched this February.
