The Yerevan State University (YSU) is to open a bicycle parking lot on its territory on April 7.
The construction of the area was launched by the ECO Training NGO Bicycle+.
The president of the organization, Samvel Hovhannisyan, told Tert.am the parking lot can house 18 bicycles which will be under the best possible security protection.
“We are planning to install video cameras in the near future, and have a guard to keep an eye on the lot,” he said, adding that the YSU will cover the costs of the cameras.
The organization is planning to build the next student parking lot outside the French University in Armenia.
