Senior RPA rep on structural reforms

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is going to convene an executive board meeting in the near future to discuss structural reforms in its supreme body, a senior representative of the ruling political force has said.

Galust Sahakyan, the leader of the RPA faction in parliament, told Tert.am that they may decide to dismiss several members to reduce the staff from 15 to 12 people. Among the possible candidates not to be represented in the Supreme Body is the former chief of the presidential staff, Karen Karapetyan, who has not been absent from Armenia for quite a long time, he said.

As for RPA lawmaker Rafik Petrosyan’s yesterday’s statement about state of emergency law, he considered it a commonplace opinion not containing strange hints.
