le=”text-align: justify; “>Aram Manukyan, Board Chairman, Armenian National Movement (ANM), considers March 1 both a commemoration day and the beginning of a new year.
At a Thursday rally of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) he promised that rallies will be more frequent.
“This is the beginning of a political struggle that does not deal with parliamentary elections. This is the first stage of the presidential [race]. We are not going to parliament to get seats, we are going to accomplish our tasks,” Manukyan said.
Exposing the March 1 murders is one of the ANC’s “sacred duties.” The victims were heroes killed on the way to democracy.
