Heritage, Free Democrats not ‘American project=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?= – Armenian expert

le=”text-align: justify; “>The Heritage and Free Democrats parties are not an “American project,” Alexander Iskandaryan, Director of the Caucasus Institute, told journalists on Thursday.

All political parties, including the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), have “external contacts,” which, however, does not make them “American projects,” he said.

With respect to the Heritage-Free Democrats alliance, the expert considers it logical and rational. “The Free Democrats made a logical step. They are a new political force, and an alliance with the Heritage party enables them to get into parliament,” Iskandaryan said. He believes the alliance will receive the necessary 5%.

Both the parties have their strong points. The Heritage party has its electorate, while Free Democrats has human potential, namely, radical oppositionists.  Read more... (173 words)
